linux - Compiling and Installing Yate from SVN on Debian -


i trying install yate svn on raspberry pi through command line via tutorial: http://docs.yate.ro/wiki/compiling_and_installing_yate_from_svn_on_debian

when step:

cd /usr/src svn checkout http://voip.null.ro/svn/yate/trunk yate

i error saying "svn: e000013: can't make directory '/usr/src/yate': permission denied"

any appreciated!

the easy way fix this, run root. seems ok, later steps seem require root privileges well. in general might possible run commands normal user in directory.
