this code:

this search txt files in directory want find text files in subdirectories. there should searchoption searchoption after "*.txt",

use overload: directory.getfiles method (string, string, searchoption), searchoption searchoption.alldirectories.

string[] s = directory.getfiles(t, "*.txt", searchoption.alldirectories);
