atk4 - Is agiletoolkit (atk) framework dead? -


i want choose atk (http://agiletoolkit.org) framework build admin part, have 2 questions.

  1. in site, see last blog post year go.
    project continuing?

  2. should use framework in site , admin? bit confused using in site side? or maybe should use framework (which create overhead)..

edit
developer coming java , .net mostly.
freak of service reuse because have experience on large scale projects.
see atk4 not classic rest based.

lets examine situation if may:
example, have registration form has complex logic in pre-insert , post-insert.
means need create rest api registration (with complex pre-post logic).
but! crud operation not arware complex logic in it, creating sort of pit-fall when cant re-use crud operation site , vice versa.
use create single service suitable admin crud , site operation, way wont have duplicate invocations, , each operation aware permissions have.

you can use atk4 whatever type of site want. guess better suits admin (backoffice) side, can used equally in frontend too. it's - learning curve can not short. on other hand - when used atk4 style of coding, sucks in :))
