how can these utf-8 arrow characters appear same in browsers?

i've tried both px , pt , tried html entity codes (e.g. ◀) arrows still appearing differently 1 can see here:

use custom icon font fontawesome, same across platforms as possible , gain benefits dynamic sizing , color.

don't use common font , common symbol if want same look.
